DESCRIPTION:Jubilee String Quartet\nTurning Points\nMendelssohn, Octet in E flat major Op.20\nTereza Privratska Violin I\nJulia Loucks Violin II\nLorena Cantó Woltèche Viola\nToby White Cello\nThe North York Moors Chamber Music Festival celebrates and explores great chamber music, inspired by and within the context of a magnificent National Park and its coastline.\nPassionate about breaking down barriers and making music accessible to all, the festival has built upon its strong reputation for bringing communities and artists together to promote culture through the medium of friendship and collaboration.\nEach year a new theme takes the listener on a musical quest during a fortnight in August when the famous heather is in full bloom and the moors are at their most majestic.\nThe audience’s journey through the landscape is an extension of the concert experience, whilst the artists who are ensconced within the North York Moors National Park enjoy a truly holistic experience.  The music reflects nature which in turn mirrors it back.\nIt is with such pleasure to be launching our pivotal 13th festival during what is clearly, for our times, a new Epoch.\n
